Welcome to the Web Site of Shiney Row Male Voice Choir.
We are not a competition Choir, but we exist to further the traditions of Male voice Singing, rehearsing weekly and providing Concerts to a variety of organisations, all over the North East of England - usually between 12 and 15 Concerts annually.
During our "season" from September 2008 to May 2009 we celebrated the Choir's Golden Jubilee - performing in special Concerts (including a wonderful Joint Male Voice Choir event in October 2008 at Durham Cathedral) - producing a new CD Recording "Shiney Gold" - holding a Formal Dinner at Sunderland's Stadium of Light, and compiling a DVD with the assistance of a generous Grant from The National Lottery's Awards for All scheme.
The Golden Jubilee year was brought to a close by a special Gala Celebrity Concert, at Ewesley Road Methodist Church, at which our Guest Soloists were our Patrons, Bonaventura Bottone and Jennifer Dakin, with their daughter Rebecca Bottone.
